The Bard and Bride invite you to celebrate a storied love amongst ancient stone and emerald hills for a four-night gathering at Belle Isle Castle in Northern Ireland. The wedding will take place on Saturday, April 18th, 2026, amidst the elegance of the castle's halls and gardens.
Let's CommenceOver four days at Belle Isle Estate in Northern Ireland, we'll gather, celebrate, and enjoy time together at a relaxed pace. Each day is designed to be simple, thoughtful, and easy to enjoy with one another.
Guests may arrive at Belle Isle Castle as early as 1:00 pm. Lunch will be provided upon arrival.
For guests traveling via airport shuttle, you will be departing from Dublin airport at 10:00 am.
Please note that although the castle staff will do their best to accomodate, rooms are not guaranteed for check-in until 3:00 pm.
Castle room and cottage assignments will be provided to you upon arrival, and check-in is guaranteed at 3:00 pm.
A buffet style dinner will be served in the Grand Hall on the evening of arrival.
Breakfast will be served in the Hamilton Drawing Room for all Castle & Cottage guests.
Spend the day exploring the nearby town of Enniskillen or venture futher into County Fermanagh and Northern Ireland at your own pace. Lunch will not provided, and is yours to discover at one of the many charming local cafés or pubs.
Guests without rental vehicles are kindly encouraged to arrange shared transportation with others. Guests are equally welcome to remain at the castle this afternoon.
In the evening, gather in the Grand Hall for a catered, buffet-style rehearsal dinner featuring hearty and comforting, Irish pub inspired dishes.
Breakfast will be served in the Hamilton Drawing Room for all Castle & Cottage guests.
Guests are kindly invited to gather at the ceremony site as we prepare to begin. Please arrive a few moments early to find your seat and settle in.
Together with our loved ones, we will exchange vows and begin this next chapter surrounded by the beauty of Belle Isle Castle.
While the Bride & Bard step away for portraits, enjoy prosecco, tea, coffee, and shortbread along with music by local guitarist and vocalist Mark Langan in the Sunken Garden.
Guests are invited to make their way to the Grand Hall as we gather to begin the evening meal.
Enjoy a formal dinner served alongside live music by The Cellists. Guests will enjoy a four-course meal at a comfortable pace, with time to dine, talk, and take in the evening together.
Guests will withdraw from the Grand Hall into the Abercorn Drawing Room for cake, cocktails, and a few words from those closest to us.
Celebrate with us into the evening with dancing and merriment with music provided by local party band, Red Velvet.
Breakfast will be served in the Hamilton Drawing Room for all Castle & Cottage guests.
A soup and sandwiches lunch will be provided for all guests this afternoon as we spend the day enjoying the grounds of Belle Isle Estate.
Join us for a hands-on falconry experience with Northern Ireland School of Falconry. Get up close with trained birds of prey and learn the basics of handling and flight with this interactive experience (optional).
Spend the day enjoying the grounds of Belle Isle.
Kayaks, paddle boards, and boats are available for rental to explore Lough Erne. Guests can arrange and settle at reception.
Fishing in Lough Erne is also available. If you plan to fish, please visit https://www.nidirect.gov.uk to obtain a fishing license beforehand.
Join us in the Sunken Garden for a farewell BBQ dinner.
Breakfast will be served in the Hamilton Drawing Room for all Castle & Cottage guests.
For guests who are passengers on the airport shuttle, you will be departing the castle for Dublin airport at 8:30 am.
We ask that all other guests check out by 10:00 am at the latest.
